Located adjacent to the popular SM Mall of Asia in Metro Manila, Sea Residences is a bold new concept in urban living.
Six 16 storey tower blocks grace the skyline with a view of both the central district of Makati and the awe-inspiring setting of Manila Bay. Within easy reach of the CBD, SM Sea Residences is a luxury retreat in a tropical, tree-lined oasis. In every respect, the residents can expect the highest quality, and this extends to the exterior finishes which provide the ultimate defence against the harsh weather.
The Solution
To prepare the substrate prior to starting the coating works, the design team adopted Monolevel FC and Monomix to fill surface defects and reinstate any damaged areas. Once this stage was completed, the facade was primed with Bond-Prime, a one pack epoxy and polymer primer, followed by two coats of Monodex Ultra for a minimum ten year life. Monodex Ultra is a decorative, waterproof, anti-carbonation coating which gives protection equal to 50cm of concrete. The main walls are white with a special blue feature accent colour around the balconies.
