Following intense research and development, Flexcrete has expanded its portfolio of high performance coatings by launching two new product ranges – Monodex for the external and internal protection of buildings and other structures and Biodex for internal walls and ceilings in hygiene sensitive environments. Both products have been introduced in response to strong customer demand for coatings with protective properties in conjunction with an aesthetic finish.
The Monodex range of coatings are high performance, water-based, high build, decorative coatings which provide protection against carbonation and water ingress, whilst allowing damp substrates to breathe without blistering. Designed for the protection of external or internal substrates, Monodex coatings are exceptionally rapid drying, allowing two coats to be applied on the same working day, even in inclement weather conditions. Available in a range of colours and finishes, the coatings provide years’ of effective protection against the growth of mould and fungi, ensuring an aesthetic finish throughout their long life span.
The Biodex coatings are designed for internal use in hygiene conscious areas such as hospitals, food and drink manufacturing plants, breweries, pharmaceutical facilities and kitchens. Formulated using advanced chloride technology combined with the latest generation biocide technology, their biostatic properties actively prevent the growth of mould, fungus and bacteria for many years. Biodex coatings are non-leaching, non-toxic and water-based in composition so can be safely used in sterile environments. Both Monodex and Biodex are available off-the-shelf in a range of attractive colours, and special colours can be produced to match exact customer requirements.
